监管查询
第一步：进入FCA监管查询页面
方式一：直接访问FCA查询地址：https://register.fca.org.uk/
第二步：输入监管号或公司英文名称
注：如果按公司英文名称搜索，可能会出来好几家公司，这时请根据注册号来进行判别。
第三步：确认监管状态（Status）
常见状态：
（1）受监管状态：Authorised ;
（2）不在受监管状态：No longer authorised；
（3）欧盟监管状态：EEA Authorised；
（4）授权代表状态Appointed representative；
下文举例说明：
（1）Authorised说明目前接受监管
（2）No longer authorised说明监管已注销
（3）EEA Authorised说明是欧盟授权，只允许在英国开展业务，真正的监管机构并不是FCA，而是这家公司所在欧盟国家的监管机构。
（4）Appointed representative是 AR牌照，AR授权代表可以是个人或企业，代表获得受FCA监管或欧盟监管公司的授权许可进行投资服务，由授权公司对授权代表的商业行为负责。
第四步：确认联系信息（Contact Details)：网址、地址、电话、邮箱
确认网址，这是非常关键的一步，很多套牌公司就是利用及其相似的网站地址来欺骗投资者，FCA网站也不时发布仿冒公司警告信息。通常合规的，营业中的外汇交易商都会在contact details上登记电话、网址或邮箱（如下图）。邮箱是企业邮箱的，通常在其前面加www.的前缀，就是交易商的网站。投资者可以通过FCA上登记的联系方式，确认交易商信息。
第五步：确认它是否受英国金融服务补偿保护计划（FSCS）保护
如下图，在状态栏中有FSCS这项，前面划√了，说明是有FSCS的赔偿计划的。FSCS的用途：如果受FCA监管的企业破产，账户开在英国FCA监管的投资者可以向FSCS申请50000英镑上限的赔偿，也就是说投资金额少于或等于50000英镑的一般能够得到全额赔付。
第六步：确认能否容纳和控制客户资金
1、能够容纳和客户资金的交易商“Permission”一栏，如下图所示↓
2、不能容纳但是可能在一定的条件下能控制客户资金，如下图所示
3、欧牌监管状态EEA Authorised在FCA监管条例下不能容纳和控制客户资金，因为它真正监管机构不是FCA，而是公司注册地的欧盟国家，这类公司的资金安全要看它在注册地的欧盟国家的监管条例。如下图所示
4、Authorised representative （AR）牌照能不能容纳和控制客户资金要看授权公司，授权公司可以容纳和控制客户资金的话，AR的客户资金是存入授权公司指定的隔离账户中。如下图所示↓
第七步：确认Permission一栏中可以提供的金融服务中是否包含rolling spot forex contact（外汇保证金交易）
以下所列是一家FCA全牌照的外汇交易商一般都会包含的项目，其中必有Roll Spot Forex Contact 即期滚存外汇合约交易（也就是外汇保证金交易）这项。
Making arrangements with a view to transactions in investments（投资交易的安排）
Dealing in investments as agent（交易经纪业务）
Dealing in investments as principal（交易主体业务）
Safeguarding and administration of assets （资产的保护与管理）
第八步：大家尤其要关注其金融服务可以面向的客户范围是否包含零售客户(Retail)，毕竟多数人都属于零售外汇投资者。
Permission一栏中会列出每大项金融服务可以面向的客户范围：Customer Type（客户范围），Eligible Counterparty(合格对手），professional（机构客户），retail（零售客户）。
监管投诉
当对投资不满意时，您可以通过以下3个步骤进行投诉：
步骤一： 直接联系外汇交易商
当您有投诉时，最好的方式是直接联系外汇平台帮忙解决。
1）最好是用邮件提出投诉以便他们存档记录，从而更好地解决您的投诉。
2）当公司收到投诉之后，会以书面的形式告知已经收到您的投诉。
步骤二：若对外汇交易商处理结果不满意，可联系英国金融申诉机构FOS进行投诉
如果您对交易商的回复不满意，或他们拒绝您的投诉或您在8周内没有收到他们的回复，您可以联系FOS进行免费投诉。
有两种投诉方式可选：
（1）在线向FOS提交投诉。

步骤三：投诉到法庭
如果您对FOS的决策不满意且不打算寻求其他的投诉解决方案，您可以投诉到法庭。可以在英格兰，威尔士和北爱尔兰的郡法院或高级法院提起诉讼。而苏格兰，郡法院处理大多数小投诉。
