IMF警告：萨尔瓦多采纳比特币将引发重大风险和监管问题

萨尔瓦多国会本周通过了一项法律，要求企业接受比特币作为获取商品和服务的支付方式。萨尔瓦多总统Nayib Bukele表示，这种数字货币将有助于降低萨尔瓦多银行普及率低的问题，并降低汇款成本。
国际货币基金组织发言人格里·赖斯（Gerry Rice）周四表示，萨尔瓦多采用比特币作为法定货币可能意味着一系列风险和监管挑战。他说道：

赖斯称，国际货币基金组织的一个小组正在与萨尔瓦多举行线上会议，共同商讨该国的第四条款和一个潜在的信贷项目，其中包括加强经济治理的政策。
Amherst Pierpont拉美固定收益策略主管西沃恩•莫登（Siobhan Morden）在一份报告中写道，在一个日益专制的政权下，此项计划可能只会加剧人们对腐败、洗钱和监管机构独立性的担忧。根据彭博巴克莱指数，本周萨尔瓦多债券是新兴市场中表现最差的。
对于萨尔瓦多通过比特币这个事件，证券时报则认为，萨尔瓦多比特币合法化是一场完美的实验。
报道称，萨尔瓦多没有自己的货币，美元和比特币都是外来物，让两者“同台竞技”自然没什么意识形态障碍。如果此次实验成功，比特币将一鼓作气获得巨大的发展，不仅会有更多国家效仿，也将受到世界几十亿人的追捧。如果实验失败，那就证明比特币身上一些人坚信的那些优势都是虚幻的，当然，即便如此，比特币也不大可能因此迅速消亡，但遭遇挫折难免。
