美联储短期内难改货币政策
美联储“褐皮书”是根据美联储下属12家地区储备银行的最新调查结果编制而成。“褐皮书”指出，企业正面临成本上升的问题，尤其是运营所需的投入产品采购成本上升。与此同时，企业正在提供更高的工资和其他激励措施，以让员工重返工作岗位。
“褐皮书”显示，美国就业市场相对稳定，但劳动力短缺继续制约就业市场持续复苏，尤其是低薪岗位、熟练工种等职位缺乏合格劳动力。预计未来数月，美国就业市场增长将继续受到劳动力短缺限制。
根据美国劳工部的数据，美国全国失业率为6.1%，劳动力市场正处于对劳动力需求强劲的十字路口，仍有800多万个工作岗位空缺，但是仍有980万工人处于观望状态，劳动力供应仍是个问题。
“褐皮书”还指出，美国通胀压力进一步增加。供应链中断导致投入成本迅速上升，建筑业和制造业原材料价格明显上涨，销售价格也温和上涨。各辖区普遍预计，未来几个月成本和销售价格可能继续上扬。
但是，美联储近期一直在淡化通胀的担忧，称他们预计当前的价格压力将在未来几个月内消散。他们将当前通胀率远高于2%的目标归因于临时的供应链中断和短缺，以及基数效应。
Pantheon Macroeconomics首席经济学家Ian Shepherdson表示，“大多数美联储官员，尤其是美联储理事，将坚持这样的立场——由于存在‘瓶颈’，预计通胀压力将是‘暂时的’。”

白宫新闻发言人普萨基表示，拜登预算案优先支持《美国就业计划》、《美国家庭计划》。“拜登政府的工作计划重心是尽力控制新冠疫情，让民众早日重返工作岗位。”
刘英在接受21世纪经济报道记者采访时表示，拜登预算案主要目的是为了挽救疫情给美国带来的一系列经济、金融和社会危机，刺激经济，恢复美国的国际影响力。
然而，拜登预算案中高额的财政支出计划，引发了对美国即将承受的债务压力的担忧。根据预算方案的预计，美国政府2022财年的赤字将为1.84万亿美元，2023财年赤字将为1.372万亿美元，预计未来10年赤字将达到14.531万亿美元。

美国前财政部长Larry Summers警告称，如果通胀加剧，房租和食品价格都会随之上涨。
事实上，目前美国的通胀压力不小。当地时间5月28日，美国商务部公布的数据显示，由于美国经济迅速扩张带来的价格压力，美国又一项通胀预期“爆表”。
