周五（5月14日）亚洲交易时段，亚洲股市追随昨日美股反弹，日股涨幅居前，市场关注今日的美国零售销售数据。美元短线下挫逼近90.50水平，现货黄金则持续攀升突破关键的1830关口，“黑色系”大宗商品涨势继续回落。
截止收盘，日经225指数收涨2.32%；澳大利亚S&P/ASX200指数收盘上涨0.45%；韩国KOSPI指数收盘上涨1.00%。A股持续走高，创业板大涨超3%。
昨日美股从此前连续三天的抛售中反弹，亚股延续这一趋势，因美联储官员打消市场通胀疑虑。
周三公布的数据显示，美国消费者价格指数（CPI）意外录得逾10年来最大按年涨幅，促使市场预测政策将提早收紧，并打压股市大跌。另有数据显示，4月生产者物价指数（PPI）劲升。美国4月最终需求PPI环比增长0.6%，市场预期料涨0.3%，同比增长6.2%。
人们普遍预期物价会上涨，美联储也一再保证，预计物价上涨不会演变为持续性的长期通胀。
美联储理事沃勒（Christopher Waller）周四表示，美联储还需要“几个月的数据”，以确信近期疲弱的就业增长和高通胀是暂时的，然后才会考虑调整超宽松货币政策。
美联储副主席克拉里达周三表示，4月就业增长疲软和通胀走强的双重意外并未影响美联储的计划，他并称距离美国经济愈合到足以让美联储考虑撤回危机时期支持政策还有“一段时间”。
通胀仍是市场上的热门话题，双向波动可能是交易员和投资者在今年剩余时间里很有可能不得不适应的情况。
美国消费者价格指数（CPI）数据显示，通胀押注首先对美联储发起了冲击，但市场目前还没有因为一份数据而过度兴奋。还需要几次指向类似方向的数据（不一定是CPI）才能开始推动美联储，并有可能让政策制定者改变立场。但就目前而言，周三的走势之后，市场的反应更为谨慎。
德意志银行宏观策略师Alan Ruskin写道，尽管通胀大涨幅度之大，似乎不太可能在未来几个月出现全面逆转，但单个月的数据不太可能促使美联储立即改变其立场。
汇市方面，美元早盘保持稳定，不过尾盘加快下跌，目前逼近90.50水平。只要风险继续证明其能够像昨天那样反弹，美元就会经历拉锯战。这将使外汇市场的形势变得棘手，尽管高收益可能仍会在一段时间内（或至少在长期内）有利于日元套利。
路透调查，美联储青睐的通胀指标需要触及2.8%高位，才会令美国决策者不安。调查还显示，美联储至少将忍受该通胀水平三个月时间，之后才会行动。
荷兰国际集团（ING）首席国际经济分析师James Knightley说，“我觉得是2.8%，但说实话只要高于2.5%就行。不过更重要的是数据的可持续程度，而不是具体看某一个月的数据，而且必须要结合增长和就业的情况来看待。”
“如果核心PCE指数升幅在2022年初也高于2.5%，那么我们将不得不认真考虑加速缩减QE并在年底前加息，”他补充说。
其他方面，在美元临近亚市尾盘加速走低后，黄金试图趁机反弹，目前交投在1830美元附近。
Circle Squared Alternative Investments创始人Jeffrey Sica表示：“所有通胀数据都给金价带来积极影响，未来这种势头可能会继续。”
本交易日来看，市场将关注美国零售销售数据。香港时间周五20：30，美国将公布4月零售销售数据。权威媒体调查显示，美国4月零售销售月率料增长1%，增幅较上月显著回落。调查并显示，美国4月核心零售销售月率料增长0.6%，此前3月为飙升8.4%。
BK资产管理（BK Asset Management）首席外汇策略师Kathy Lien撰文称，本周金融市场犹如坐过山车，周五美国将公布4月零售销售报告，预计波动性不会消退。在糟糕的非农就业报告和大幅上涨的物价之间，投资者急切地想知道消费者的表现如何。良好的美国零售销售数据将使高风险货币受益最大，特别是日元交叉盘将表现良好，因为美国强劲复苏为全球强劲复苏提供了动力。
