近期，上海、苏州、北京、西安、三亚等地纷纷传来数字人民币试点最新动态。“五一”期间，苏州联动上海协同举办的“五五购物节”刷屏网络，支持数字人民币消费成为该活动的主要亮点，数字人民币首次开展跨区域试点。
这是苏州第三轮数字人民币红包应用测试活动，“五五购物节”数字人民币红包活动预约报名通道自5月1日20时开启，5月5日24时关闭。活动通过抽签发放数字人民币红包，红包共18.18万个，每个红包金额55元，总计发放金额999.9万元。
自2020年底，上海商贸行业已列入数字人民币试点应用场景。目前，上海重点商圈、商街、企业和平台各项测试工作正在有序推进，支付受理环境不断优化，南京路步行街大部分商户可以接受数字人民币业务。“五五购物节”期间，上海青浦、苏州吴江、浙江嘉善三地支持试点营运机构在长三角示范区内商圈、酒店、古镇、旅游景点、公交等场景推广数字人民币支付应用，试点数字人民币长三角一体化发展示范区跨区域支付应用。
北京冬奥场景作为试点场景之一，近期也即将开展新一轮测试。北京将启动“京彩奋斗者数字嘉年华”数字人民币试点活动，聚焦北京冬奥场景，在多个核心商业区开展数字人民币消费体验。金融科技专家苏筱芮分析称，此次北京试点基于前期工作经验，再次面向消费者发放数字人民币奖励，一方面表明试点工作正在有序拓展，另一方面体现出数字人民币在推广方式上充分采用市场化手段，结合消费热点探索通过创新、亲民的方式来获取广大用户的认可，既能够发挥数字人民币在零售市场中的流通作用，也能够扩大数字人民币在国内支付行业的影响力。
面向特定人群发放红包试点是西安试点的特色之一。西安市雁塔区数字人民币示范区消费节体验日活动近日举行，活动面向区内约一万名防疫医护人员和志愿者代表发放数字人民币形式的消费红包，每份红包100元。此外，三亚海旅免税城首笔数字人民币离岛免税购物支付近日完成，标志着数字人民币在海南自贸港离岛免税购物场景的使用正式启动。
据央行披露，到2020年10月，数字人民币增加了上海、海南、长沙、西安、青岛、大连六个试点地区。加上此前深圳、苏州、雄安新区、成都四地及北京冬奥会场等试点地区，数字人民币试点已经形成“10+1”的格局。
数字人民币正式推出还有多远？央行副行长李波近日在博鳌亚洲论坛的数字货币论坛上表示，数字人民币的正式推出没有具体时间表，未来我国将继续做好试点工作，扩大试点范围，打造数字化人民币生态系统，提升系统安全性和可靠性，并制定相应法律和监管体系。目前央行正在考虑扩大数字人民币的试点范围，在更多场景、更多城市进行试点。
