周五（4月30日）最新消息显示，当地时间周四，美国政府发现的四周期国库券的中标收益率为0%，这是该国逾1年来首次发行的零利率债券。上一次发行是在2020年3月新冠疫情暴发初期，当时焦虑的投资者纷纷将现金投入货币市场基金，从而压低了美债收益率。
那么，时隔一年，美国为何又发行了零利率美债呢？分析指出，由于美国政府正在减少其短期债券的发行量，以便降低庞大的现金余额，在这种情况下，美债收益率最近也持续承压。而除了以0%的收益率发行400亿美元的四周期美债外，该国还以0.01%的收益率发行了400亿美元的八周期美债。
要知道，近两年来美国不断“印钞”，除了向全球输出通胀之外，还很可能导致其他国家持有的美元资产缩水。因此，不少投资者正在大量抛售美债。4月15日美国财政部公布的数据显示，今年2月份海外投资者已经大幅抛售美国长期国债。
数据显示，2月份美债遭到了海外买家665亿美元（约合4303亿元人民币(6.4749, 0.0027, 0.04%)）的抛售，其中私人投资者抛售了610亿美元，而外国央行则抛售了45亿美元。由此看来，在海外买家的眼中，美债恐怕不再是“香饽饽”了。
如今美国还发行了不用付利息的美债，那么谁会“接盘”呢？分析认为，在投资者纷纷抛售之际，作为美债的最大买家，美联储很可能会再次出手“接盘”。在周四的议息会议中，美联储主席鲍威尔就表示，现在还未到讨论缩减购债规模的时候。
换句话说，美联储还将继续通过“印钞”购买美债的方式来帮助美国经济实现复苏。因此，如果美国发行的美债“无人问津”，那么美联储必将出手“接盘”。
