数字人民币（e-CNY）正在吸引越来越多公众的注意力。在第四届数字中国建设峰会上，数字人民币展台人头攒动，普通老百姓(62.500, 0.00, 0.00%)对于数字人民币的热情和兴趣高涨。而银行也正在推动更多商户和个人用户下载数字钱包，以便在试点计划中直接使用数字人民币进行交易。
应用场景逐步丰富
央行官员近期表示，目前数字人民币试点范围有序扩大，应用场景逐步丰富，应用模式持续创新，系统运行总体稳定，初步验证了数字人民币在理论政策、技术和业务上的可行性和可靠性。
为了推动公众对于数字人民币的了解和接受度，银行预计将在“五一”期间，向上海市民发放免费数字现金红包。
数字人民币可以应用于多个场景。在此次数字中国建设峰会上，中国银行(3.250, 0.00, 0.00%)首次展出了一台可兑换外币的数字人民币原型机，可支持包括人民币在内的17种币种的兑换。未来持有护照的外国人只需要将外币放入机器中，机器就会自动吐出一张数字人民币卡片，卡片上还带有交易金额和可用余额的显示屏，因此也被称为“可视芯片钱包”。
只需拿着这个钱包，外国人就能在接受数字人民币支付的终端上消费，应用场景涵盖了商场、超市、自动贩卖机、交通、教育、医疗、农贸市场等多地，并将首次在明年的冬季奥运会上正式投入使用。
现场工作人员向第一财经记者介绍道，可视芯片钱包分为在线和离线两种类别。支持在线功能的钱包中的数据与网络相连，即便发生遗失，数据仍存储在对应的服务商系统中；而离线钱包则类似于目前的交通卡，无需网络支持，也被称为是“硬钱包”。
对于这台数字人民币兑换机，参观者饶有兴致。一位从厦门赶到福州的参观者对第一财经记者表示：“我们希望数字人民币尽快在各地铺开试点，比如在厦门港口，就很需要这样的兑换机，好让老百姓也享受到数字货币带来的好处。”
2019年底数字人民币试点、测试相继在深圳、苏州、雄安、成都四地及北京冬奥会场启动，到2020年10月，增加了上海、海南、长沙、西安、青岛、大连等6个试点测试地区，由此初步形成“10+1”格局。
率先推向国内个人消费者
一位银行方面人士在展台现场对第一财经记者表示，数字人民币已经成为央行继纸币和硬币后发布的又一种官方货币，并将作为央行发行的有形流通货币（M0）的一部分。具体而言，央行将数字货币发行给银行，再由银行将货币转移给个人和公司。
但目前数字人民币的试点还只向特定受邀的人群开放，未来希望能够加快推广普及。“这是顺应全球趋势的做法，在这次展会上向公众展示，也是希望帮助普通人了解什么是数字人民币以及如何使用。”他说道。
不过他同时强调，央行推出数字人民币并不是为了与支付宝或者微信支付竞争，其作用更像是“备份”或“冗余”。 目前支付宝和微信支付控制着中国约94%的在线支付市场。还在测试版的数字人民币钱包可以与包括美团、京东、滴滴出行以及哔哩哔哩在内的十几种软件应用捆绑销售，但是不能与微信或支付宝连接。
中国发展的主权数字货币已经远远领先于其他主要经济体的类似举措。第一财经记者在展馆现场看到，除了中、农、工、建、交、邮储六大国有银行之外，还包括京东科技、蚂蚁金服、华为和腾讯等科技公司参与了数字人民币的开发和标准化的研制工作，并根据央行的总体安排推进试点工作。
央行副行长李波上周表示，人民币数字化当前的重点是促进其在国内的使用，他表示，希望国内率先将数字人民币用于跨境支付。一些分析人士认为，这将会提升人民币的全球地位，从而最终打破美元结算体系的主导地位。
汇丰银行预计，数字人民币将在中国国内快速普及。汇丰在最近的一份报告中写道：“数字人民币的可用性与支付宝和微信支付相当，但其安全功能可能更高，并且技术含量可以与比特币相当。”
普华永道（中国）全球TMT负责人周伟然表示，数字人民币将对消费的“最后一公里”进行数字化，使银行和商家能够捕获消费行为数据并深入了解消费者的支出模式。但他预测，数字人民币的大规模采用不会在一夜之间发生。“未来几年内，数字人民币将与支付宝和微信支付并存，占比可达中国电子支付市场的10%。”他说道。
“使用区块链技术加密系统的数字货币，有望使得银行和政府能够准确追踪资金的流动，并有助于发现和防止洗钱活动。”周伟然对第一财经记者表示，“未来所有的银行间清关和支付都可以采用电子担保，这将会消除中介清算的代理，缩短清算时间，并降低交易成本。”
他认为，政府将数字人民币的侧重点放在发展个人消费者的策略是非常正确的，而一旦数字货币被公众广泛接受后，就建立起系统性的基础，未来再推向企业层面，将会产生巨大的经济影响。他还对第一财经记者表示：“未来第三方手机钱包运营商将与央行紧密合作，拥抱数字货币的发展趋势。”
