伊斯坦布尔证券交易所公告称，股票市场、衍生品市场的股票和股票指数合约以及债务证券股票回购市场的交易暂停。ICE数据显示，土耳其五年期信用违约掉期（CDS）跃升53%，创至少2009年以来的最高水平。

在美元反弹之际，年初大规模的做空仓位近日也是持续回落。据路透计算及美国商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）周五公布的数据，最近一周投机客持有的美元净空仓规模骤降至去年6月中以来最低。
根据相对增长预期，美元同比应该上涨20%，而不是下跌15%。根据北欧联合银行的说法，除非拜登政府彻底摧毁美元，否则有充分的理由预期美元今年会强势反弹。
澳新银行（ANZ）的Khoon Goh对CFTC COT数据的另一项分析发现了一种更为激进的挤压：他计算出，过去一周美元买盘价值72亿美元，是2014年8月以来的最高水平。
尽管目前看，美元指数(92.3298, 0.0078, 0.01%)仍在努力突破92以上，但是美元的势头似乎已经逆转，因为空头已经投降，现在的问题是“对冲基金在多大程度上愿意投入美元多头”，以及如果美元从现在开始飙升，资产风险将受到多大影响。
