与此同时，所罗门补充说道，该行正在与客户接洽，并密切关注监管规定，思考该如何继续发展。
目前，有关比特币和其他加密货币的监管规则仍然十分复杂，这主要是因为不同的政府机构在这些资产问题上仍然采用相互竞争、有时甚至是相互矛盾的立场。例如，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）选择监管证券交易，并对在美国出售的大多数以太坊代币（Ethereum-based tokens）行使索赔权，这些代币是为初创企业筹集资金的一种方式。CFTC则监管比特币衍生品市场，比如Bakkt和CME等交易所的期货和期权合约等。
高盛也会选择某种方式让其客户接触比特币。该公司上月向美国证券交易委员会（SEC）提交了一份新型投资产品的申请，这款产品专注于投资Grayscale比特币信托基金（Grayscale Bitcoin Trust）的ARK Innovation ETF。
尽管步步谨慎小心，高盛银行依旧是目前最新的一家对数字资产感兴趣的机构。与此同时，虽然各大银行对去中心化加密货币都持有不同的看法，但无一例外，他们对如何接触和投资数字货币都很谨慎。
