美国商务部也在上周末前表示，占美国经济活动2/3的消费者支出在2月份下降1.0%，原因是商品购买量大幅下降。值得关注的是，消费者支出数据在1月份反弹3.4%。美国个人收入在1月份激增10.1%后，暴跌7.1%。经济学家此前预计，2月份的消费者支出下降0.7%，收入将下降7.3%。
